Empty Space at Sherenden and Districts School

The Senior Room at Sherenden and Districts School has been working on a series of podcasts. They cover many themes related to Native birds, trees, and predators. We have interviews with Hawkes Bay Regional Council's predator specialist Nathan, Rob from Better Nature, as well as some informative reports on birds and trees. International eventer Christen Lane is interviewed, as is Sally Gunn about her experiences during Cyclone Gabrielle. Sherenden local Neil Fountaine makes an appearance to talk about farming, as does Graham Lawrence who tells the story of his grandfather who was an ANZAC. The children talk about their research into native birds and animals, and interview some of our younger students who have also been studying birds and trees. The children also speak about some other issues such as what is better, gaming or reading? Enjoy!
